I’m not a big video game guy. I was a Nintendo fan when I was a kid, but I was more interested in Nintendo Power than stockpiling a bunch of games. I bought a Nintendo 64 for Goldeneye while in college, a Playstation 2 years later and a Wii a year after it came out.
But after spending nine weeks cooped up in my house recovering from surgery, I gave my Wii to my brother, wanting never again to spend hours in front of a TV screen.
And then last year Katie won a Wii. We bought a few games, mostly used from GameStop or Bookman’s, and played it sparingly. She sure did love the Wii Fit and when Goldeneye came out last month, I rushed to buy it.
And then Scott Cate held a Microsoft Professional Developer’s Conference viewing at Gangplank and I won an XBox 360 with Kinect. I was stoked to play Halo Reach, Call of Duty and a ton of other games my friends had been hyping up, as well as see what the Kinect had to offer.
The Kinect is freaking awesome. I sit on the couch while Katie dances for hours until she gets tired. Then I play Halo Reach.
You shake that thang, girlfriend! Rawr.

Whats with the shirt? She didn’t really have the wear that shirt did she? She is just trying to “play the part” right?
I have no idea why she made that shirt, but I like it.
That’s awesome. I didn’t bother with all that writing and “words” and stuff above but I loved the video 🙂
I wrote words?
