Certainly had an excellent week, if I do say so myself. Started off a little down in the dumps, but I either got happier or used that to make some funny, so either way I’m happy. If you haven’t been keeping up, I hope you were off making bucketloads of money or saving the rainforest (we don’t hear much about the rainforest anymore, so I guess it’s saved) or even relaxing with a fruity drink.
Or you were just too lazy to sit down. Here’s your chance.
No, not FunkYtown, I said funk town
This was me bitching because I was in a personal funk. Food didn’t taste as good, words didn’t flow and work wasn’t going so well. Number 2 has certainly changed since then, but not much else. There’s always next week.
In-N-Out versus Five Guys – who has the better burger?
Secret time! I’m not a huge fan of fast food burgers and that was before FatOff. Still, after reading Desert Living Today’s post about a burger brouhaha involving Zagat, In-N-Out and Five Guys, I had to see for myself who had the better burger. Yes, I ate them both and no, I’m not especially proud of it.
Phoenix coffee shops as high-school chick stereotypes
This one was a gem. Pretty sure even people who hate me liked it. Pretty sure your mom liked it too. Just go read.
That one night in Corvallis
Part three in my ever-more-interesting story about a night in Corvallis that I couldn’t forget if I wanted to and yet still can’t remember half of it. This part takes me up to right around closing time, but I certainly didn’t go home.
Whoops
I tried to force myself to finish a piece on right versus left brains by setting it to publish and then forgot about it multiple times. It’s now in draft form and still unfinished.
