Things I’ve learned from parties

You haven’t subscribed yet?

Went to OVO’s shindig tonight, hosted by the impeccable @hildebrant. Fantastic food.

And I learned these things:

–No matter how good a girl looks in a dress, it doesn’t make her interesting. Oh, and some people will NEVER be interesting.
–The Phoenix-area PR/Marketing firms don’t talk enough. There are some shitty businesses out there we should protect each other from.
–I have a cool job.
–Wasabi-soy pickles are VERY good.
–I feel sorry for people with shrill (not high-pitched, mind you. shrill) voices and will never cease to wonder how anyone listens to them.
–That social media has become a topic that will be talked about at every party from now on. That’s okay, as long as we don’t have to explain twitter.
–At the really good parties, nobody spends their time on their phones.
–Some people are and always will be douchebags, no matter how hot their wives are.

Oh, and my hybrid is way cooler than Forty’s.
