Skora Running Shoes First Review

In my ongoing quest to find the perfect pair of running shoes, I was fortunate to visit the Skora Running offices in Portland, OR. I had a chance to talk with Mike about why the Skoras were made, what they hope to accomplish, and why Skora Running shoes are awesome.

They offered me a pair when they received their first shipment and two days ago a pair of FORM black shoes arrived at my door. I put them on immediately and have worn them everywhere except running and the gym since.

I love them. I’ll be doing a series of reviews over the next few weeks as I get more comfortable and run in them. Because I’ve run in Vibrams or Luna Sandals for so long, I’m going to ease into my Skoras to make sure they get a fair shake.

(In the following video, I refer to the thickness incorrectly. The outer sole is 4mm, the mid is 5mm and the removable insole is 4mm. For testing purposes, I’m wearing the full 13mm. Also, the leather is Armortan Goatskin upper with WR100X Sheepskin lining.)

Isn’t that box really cool? Smells fantastic as well. I should have my next review up in about a week.

Anything you’d like to know? Anything you’d like me to try?
