Recognition isn’t success
Want to know how to make that happen? It ain’t promotion. It ain’t just good marketing. It sure as hell ain’t a huge presence.
It’s about being great.
Be good at something. Be really, really good at something. Just one thing. Be the best marketer for single moms. Be the best publicist for military vets. Be the greatest showman alive. Most importantly, solve a problem. Too many people try to create a market, which takes resources and money. Solve a problem for an existing market and you won’t have to worry about that (yet).
No matter what that one thing you pick is, be great at it. Stop worrying about everything else. Don’t be all things to all people.
Once you’re great, then worry about getting the word out. I bet you won’t have to worry all that much.
