I feel ridiculous. And I hate that I feel so.
Quid pro quo when it comes to followers/fans doesn’t work. It retards the system and makes the people we’re connected to online feel cheap.
Why in the hell do I care? Do YOU care? Does the matter in which we become well known matter online?
Facebook fans are worth $3.60. Not what you expected?
This is even worse. Who cares? This number can’t be proven. Ever. The effect of exposure always depends on context and this doesn’t take that into account.
Twitter just announced contextual ads. It all must be monetized and to do that, we need followers.
Followers matter. Every business needs an audience, no matter what service they’re selling. This hurts.
If the secret to great work is great play, should business play with their customers? Makes sense.
That’s even more bullshit. No one wants to play with a logo or a brand or a service. Or do we?
