Ideally, we all should remember the past, act in the present and think of the future.
Too often act from the past, think of the present and predict the future.
This philosopher only had it halfway right: “Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh!” ((You’re goddamn right I just quoted Yoda))
Don’t let the excitement come from not remembering the past, nor the adventure stem because you didn’t think of the future.
Focus on what’s here, now.
