Love, Hate and Indifference

by tdhurst · 3 comments

There’s a ton of little things we all catalog throughout the day. We don’t always consciously notice them, but it affects us. Things we love, things we hate and things we couldn’t care less about. Here’s a list of mine:

Love
Waking up early.
Stretching.
Making a jump shot.
Typing a post/paper/report without stopping.
Laughing before you even get out of bed.
Taking a cold shower.
Not having to shave.
My internet working.
Interesting blog posts to read.
Afternoons without an agenda.

Hate
Big trucks in parking garages, especially with attached hitches.
Sparkling clean SUVs that never go off-road.
Internal temperature that isn’t quite comfortable.
Outside weather that’s too humid.
People who dress for others and not themselves.
Anyone who uses text speak. Ever.
Desks that are too short.
Chairs that make my legs sweat.
Uninteresting people who waste other’s time.

Don’t care about
What time I wake up.
What time I go to bed.
What kind of coffee I drink.
What kind of fruit I use for my morning smoothie.
What’s on the news. Ever.
What people watch on TV.

Just thought I’d share.

Things you love? So nice. Cuz you are usually pretty ticked off. (and that woman with the leggings and ankle boots? i believe she was dressing for herself. her self. :)

What's crazy is when a thing you love and a thing you hate get intertwined in an instant and you don't quite know what to do about it.

I only say that because it just happened to me about 15 minutes ago, and I'm pleasantly pleased that this post relates to it. Thanks.

Agreed. Trucks/SUVs are that way with me. All the time.
