I think Crow dropped the ball by not deciding how to honor Obama immediately and failing to get that info to PR for publishing right after it was known that Obama was coming to ASU for commencement. I still don’t totally agree with you. How is the PR flacks (who did not handle this appropriately, that much I do agree) supposed to handle this? No statement “explaining” the position at all?

I think Crow dropped the ball by not deciding how to honor Obama immediately and failing to get that info to PR for publishing right after it was known that Obama was coming to ASU for commencement.
