Collaboration breeds learning. Collaboration breeds solutions. Broadcasting transfers knowledge, which is the lowest form of thinking. Collaboration goes beyond that.
It’s easy to get speakers that will preach to the crowd, it’s hard to get teachers who will engage them. Perhaps it’s time we look from within our communities to find people who are actually practicing what they preach, instead of those who are slightly outside the culture only have to preach.

Successful speakers with be moderators, aggregators and motivational. Sometimes the best gift for either party involves one person teaching another how what they always wanted to do is possible. They won’t be broadcasters.
