My sister and her quest for the correct spelling

October 14, 2009

The gang beat down (what I remember)

October 13, 2009

You can’t avoid a punch you don’t see. You can’t block a punch if you can’t move. I didn’t feel the first one. Nor the second. Nor did I feel the punch that knocked me out and onto the street. Never felt the ensuing kicks. The next I remember is being pulled down the street, [...]

Why hearing me speak is the best thing you could do

October 6, 2009

You’ve seen me on Twitter. You’ve obviously read my blog. So, why was I invited to speak in front of 200+ women? 1) I’m funny and/or interesting (hey, @jose602 thinks so!) 2) I’m on the wall in the Cronkite Building 3) I’m the id you’d all like to be 4) Even the most independent of [...]

Different

October 4, 2009

There are those that stand out. There are those that disagree. There are those who aren’t swayed by the opinion of the masses. They don’t need others like most do. They don’t count on your support, but you want theirs. They aren’t like you. They are probably despised for it. These people are free spirits, [...]
